The two girls who went from the Children's Home to secondary school last January have been doing really well. Fridah and Lucy have worked hard and really benefitted from the experience.

It costs about £300 a year to give these girls a secondary education. we will be able to fund them next year but we could really use extra funding to enable more children like Fridah and Lucy to have the chance to go to secondary school.

Our annual dinner at the Chase Hotel in Nuneaton was a huge success. This year 93 people attended and by the time we have claimed gift aid on donations, we will have raised at least £1500.

Thanks to all who attended and particularly to Colin, who provided the excellent "magical" entertainment as a gift to us once again.

Google Earth has rescanned the area of Kenya that our school is in. The link is below the image of the Moi's Bridge site.

Work on the school's security has continued during October. The October rains make it an ideal time to plant the thorn bushes that will grow into a living fence around the site.
