The staff at the school in 2016. They are reliable, hard working and have made the school very successful. Year on year children who otherwise might not even be in school achieve results in the national tests which puts them in the top 10% for the region.
Today the 200 children have a purpose built school on land which is jointly owned by the school and the charity. We are working with the school and its community to make the school self-sufficient through sustainable projects. Currently over 50% of the food and wages bill each month is paid for from the income from last years projects. Of the total running cost this is equivalent of around 25%.
